OSI Wood Machinerie Lands
An Important Contract in The U.S.

OSI Wood Machinerie based in St.Georges, Canada, which specializes in the production of wood equipment for the secondary wood processing, has secured a contract of many millions of dollars from Buchanan Hardwoods located in Aliceville, Alabama.

OSI will support the modernization of the wood floor production line with its patented SmartSwitch layout approach.

OSI Wood Machinerie will provide to his customer the vision technology, commonly known as the scanner (provided by the Centre de recherche Industrielle du Québec), in addition of an automatic cutting system and a wood floor roll forming machine unique on the market. Finally, OSI will ensure full automation of all new equipment according to its SmartSwitch approach.

This project that includes the SmartSwitch process
is the second to be made on the U.S. market.
