A sixth patent for osi wood machinerie: automated nesting system

OSI Wood Machinery adds a sixth patent to its list of patented innovation with the acceptance by the U.S. government of the invention made by OSI: the Automated Nesting System.

A first Automated Nesting System is currently in function at one of our client and has proved its effectiveness in reaching all goals that were set.

Listed under the name Automatic Floor Board Classification System and Method Therefore (Patent Number 8,082,960 US), the Automated Nesting System allows full automation and intelligent step of grading, nesting and packaging of wood components before the step of delivery.

The system has the ability to sort, nest and package boards according to lengths and grades to minimize the number of operators required for unproductive, repetitive tasks. Our grading, nesting and packaging systems can be designed for a variety of differing manufacturing applications, such as furniture, doors and windows.
